Who We Are
Foothills Accountants is led by Shane Smith, a CPA and CFA Charterholder based in Golden, Colorado. The firm is intentionally built to serve clients whose tax and accounting needs require planning, judgment, and ongoing attention including business owners, rental property owners, fiduciaries, and individuals with more involved tax situations. We help clients stay organized, compliant, and proactive by providing thoughtful tax preparation, planning, accounting support, and year-round guidance when needed.
Our firm is best suited for clients whose tax and financial lives require more than basic tax filing, including business income, rental properties, K-1s, stock compensation, trusts and estates, multi-state filings, or ongoing planning needs.
